Requirements
The Professional MBA programme is defined as
a career development
programme for those who have significant post-graduation and relevant
work experience. It enables participants to tailor the content to their
career aspirations and personal strengths.
Students admitted into the Professional MBA
programme come from
private and public sectors. Although Professional MBA students have
diverse backgrounds, they share a common desire to hone their
analytical and decision making skills in order to develop the business
leadership capabilities relevant in today's rapidly evolving economic
environment.
To be admitted for the Professional MBA
programme, candidates are required to have :
An initial
University degree or overseas equivalent or an equivalent professional
qualification ( eg ACCA , ACII , ACMA , CIM , etc).
A significant post-graduation and
relevant work experience of at least two years
Competency in
English, for those candidates whose first language is not English.
Students studying for UW award need to have attend a IELTS
score
of 6 (for undergraduates) and IELTS score of 6.5 (for postgraduates)
Two supporting references
As not all candidates have followed a
traditional educational route,
FINE and the University of Wales consider each case separately and take
into account candidate's comparable qualifications and extensive
professional experience. A non graduate seeking entry onto the
Professional MBA may also be admitted provided that he/she
has
held, for a minimum of two years, a responsible managerial position.
